A teenager wearing a swastika-emblazoned shirt livestreamed himself attacking classmates with a hammer at a high school in Mexico after posting a warning about a planned massacre on social media.

The 17-year-old, identified only as Brandon, is seen in the livestream approaching classmates at San Andres High School in Guadalajara and swinging a hammer.

Surveillance footage of the attack showed him walking up to one student from behind and hitting him in the head with the hammer. He was then seen swinging at two more classmates before being restrained by the first student he struck.

A day before the attack, the teen posted a warning to X, formerly Twitter, showing his outfit bearing a swastika laid out along with a hammer, pickaxe and other gear.

Now, the time has come, dont think that a few tears and sorrows are going to stop me, the post read.

I have invested enough money in this for this day. Tomorrow many will be happy, others will curse me, but I continue forward with the mission. SIEG HEIL let the show begin.

The warning - along with other disturbing posts expressing support for Nazi ideology - went undetected and Brandon was able to pull off the attack.

He titled the livestream: School massacre Enjoy the show.

The teen posted online about his plans of committing an act that would make headlines across Mexico and included a photo of himself holding a pickaxe and a knife.

Surveillance footage showed classmates punching Brandon after the attack.

Police then arrived and placed him under arrest.

The two injured students, whose names have not been released, were taken to a local medical facility.

Last Wednesday, Brandon posted to X about his plans of committing an act that would make headlines across Mexico and included a photo of himself holding a pickaxe and a knife.

We are already well equipped for this Saturdays party, this is going to be national, he wrote.

I dont give a damn what happens. SIEG HEIL

Brandons now-suspended X account also featured a photo of him making the Hitler salute.

He had previously posted photos of animals he claimed to have killed.

Other photos on his account show him with what appeared to be blood smeared across his face and chest, as well a picture of him holding a knife to his neck in front of an upside-down crucifix.

Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro condemned the attack and said it could have potentially been prevented by Brandons family.

To reach this decision, many signs had to be noticed and, without a doubt, signs of serious antisocial behavior that, if they had been detected and attended to, in the first instance by his family, this terrible outcome could have been avoided, Alfaro wrote on his X account.

In addition to the fact that this young man will face all the consequences of the law and of condemning violence, as a society we have a very hard lesson to learn and understand, starting with looking at our children, who surrounds them and the example we set for them every day.
