Motorists are up in arms about a TikTok video that appears to show more than 150 people hit with the same ticket by the same cop.

Posted by Houstons Keara Kenise, the viral video shows the alleged offenders all lined up in front of a Katy courthouse last week.

All received citations from Harris County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Raymond Hubbard, after being pulled over at the same intersection. Kenise proceeds to complain about the occurrence - while adding an element of humor to keep things light.

As for an explanation, a public information officer told DailyMail.com  the intersection that spawned the tickets is a high crash area - one that Hubbard had been specifically assigned to stake out.

That explains the high amount of tickets, he said - adding that Hubbard regularly hands out 300 citations a month.

If you watch the video, you see people laughing, but none of them said they didn’t do it, Sgt. Greg Temple told DailyMail.com of the high amount of Improper stop at a traffic light tickets.

He added how they were all handed out near the intersection of Fry Road and Interstate 10 - a crossing he said over they years has surfaced as a problem spot.

Temple further revealed how Hubbard is part of a program designed specifically to issue a high number of tickets to such areas, after more than 27 years on the force.

That fact appeared lost on the small army of motorists seen in Kenises clip, herself included.

Commenting on the common ground shared between members of the crowd, Kenise goes down the line asking each Texan why they got pulled over.

All respond with the same answer - leading to a humorous display where she asks members of the congregation to raise their hand.

Everybody who got pulled over for not yielding on Fry road, raise your hand! the woman at one point proclaims.

Almost everyone in line responded by extending one of their arms to the sky, most of them doing so while smiling despite the reason for their visit.

@kenise2u

Please be aware of Officer HUBBARD, R! He is out here pulling people over for no reason we stood in line for 5 hours for the same ticket from the same officer. He sits on i10 and fry rd next to HEB and pulls people over for absolutely nothing please comment below if you have ever had and experience with this officer! #KatyTX #harriscounty #houstontexas #hpd #viral #discover #houston #fyp

Kenise continued: Everybody who got pulled over - he came on that bullhorn yellin, tellin you to pull over like you committed a federal offense, raise your hand!

All the hands stay raised.

It dont make no sense, Kenise is then heard exclaiming - before honing in on the man responsible for their being there.

Thats a d*mn shame, she begins. We putting him on TikTok - he got to be stopped! He says you all ran a stop sign on Fry Road! Officer Hubbard!

Others gathered at the site are seen letting out laughs in response.

Commenters, meanwhile, offered their own jabs about the gathering as well, with one remarking, that judge is gonna have a field day w[ith] this.

Im going to court tomorrow for the same thing! added another.

Im raising my hand, said someone else.

The original clip of the back-in-forth, according to the woman who posted, was deleted after 600,000 views.

A repost has since garnered 3,000 more, as Sgt Temple on Monday explained in-depth the state-funded initiative responsible for the spate of citations.

We participate in a state-funded initiative called the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP), he wrote in an email.

This program is funded through grants from the Texas Department of Transportation and is designed to deter traffic violations at the most dangerous intersections.

Deputy Hubbard and the Traffic Enforcement Program play a crucial role in enhancing road safety in the community, he continued. On average, he issues 300 citations each month.

The data concerning crashes at the intersection of Fry Road and Clay Road is particularly alarming, with seven major crashes reported in September, he went on, sharing several other intersections in the area that earned the distinction.

Deputy Hubbard and the Traffic Enforcement Program play a crucial role in enhancing road safety in the community, a PIO said, as he sought to explain the state-funded initiative that has officers like Hubbard handing out tickets. On average, he issues 300 citations each month

This underscores the importance of targeted enforcement in areas with high crash rates.

He added how the force is currently in the process of working with local magistrates  to stagger days so the volume of tickets are lower - in hopes of avoiding an outcome like the one seen in the TikTok clip.
