Weight loss brand Slimming World has issued a major recall on a number of their products following contamination fears.


Weight loss brand Slimming World has issued a major recall on a number of their products following contamination fears.

The food supply chain has been investigated over a potential peanut contamination in their mustard ingredients which poses a potential risk to people with allergies.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA), Food Standards Scotland (FSS) and Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) have been working to remove the items of shelves.

It comes after food business FGS Ingredients Limited decided to withdraw and recall all products they supply to retail or food manafacturers containing mustard, as it contains spice products including curry powders and spice blends from India.

The seasonings are used across a wide range of ready meals that are sold in Iceland strores, Dunnes in Ireland and The Food Warehouse.

Customers are being urged to not eat these products and to return them to any Iceland, Food Warehouse or Dunnes store where you will be given a full refund

The list of recalled items are as follows: 

Customers are being urged to not eat these products and to return them to any Iceland, Food Warehouse or Dunnes store where you will be given a full refund with no receipt necessary.
