An alleged female serial killer has been captured by Canadian police following a grisly three-day murder spree.

Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, allegedly carried out three murders from October 1 to 3, including fatally stabbing two random men in two separate cities.

The first murder was discovered by Toronto police around 2pm on Tuesday, where a woman in her 60s was found dead with trauma to her body in her home. Her identity and manner of death have not been revealed by police.

This was followed just 24 hours later when Lance Cunningham, 47, was stabbed to death in a park in Niagara Falls.

Police said Kauldhar then travelled by public transport to the city of Hamilton, where a day later grandfather Mario Bilich, 77, was also stabbed in a parking lot, and he died hours later in hospital.

Investigators chillingly revealed they are also searching for a woman in Burlington, Ontario, who was seen in CCTV footage buying clothes that Kauldhar was later wearing, although it is not known if she was a victim or accomplice.

Ivestigators said Kauldhar was known to the female victim in Toronto, but believe Cunningham and Bilich were both randomly targeted during the alleged killers spree.

Police said Kauldhar was arrested in Burlington, Ontario, on suspicion of the first murder, before she was quickly linked to the other two deaths during the investigation by a description of a suspect at both scenes.

In a press conference following her arrest, Niagara Regional Police Chief Bill Fordy said that by definition, she is a serial killer.

We have in excess of 100 investigators trying to understand why something like this takes place, and to gather as much evidence as possible to bring the accused to court, he said.

Fordy said detectives have not established any motive for the killings, and said the investigation is in its early stages.

I think with the passage of time, we’ll have greater clarity, he added. Fordy noted that the suspect previously had an interaction with police, but declined to offer details.

Following Kauldhars arrest, cops asked the public for help in identifying a woman who was seen in CCTV footage from a Giant Tiger store in Burlington before the spree.

She was reportedly seen buying clothing that was later found in Kauldhars possession after her arrest, however it is unclear whether police are treating her as a potential victim or accomplice.

Although little has been revealed by investigators about the first alleged murder, police said Cunninghams death came after paramedics were called to John Allan Park in Niagara Falls shortly before 3pm.

Cunningham was found suffering critical injuries, and despite lifesaving efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Less than 24 hours later, Mario Bilich was stabbed in a parking lot in Hamilton, and he died hours later in hospital.

Police released surveillance footage allegedly showing Kauldhar casually walking away from the scene.
