A fed-up homeowner has installed a homemade sprinkler system to deter pub-goers from shamelessly urinating on his driveway.
Electrician Steve Bodnar decided to take matters into his own hands at his home in Charing Cross, Waverley, in Sydneys eastern suburbs.
Theyll arrive in an Uber, stop here [out the front of the driveway] and then urinate and then leave all of their beer cans, he told A Current Affair.
Mr Bodnar first set-up a camera to catch the dozens of unwanted visitors relieving themselves on his driveway after leaving the nearby pub.
After the CCTV did little to deter his late-night guests he informed the cops and his local council before installing the sprinkler system.
I thought, the only way I can seem to do this is to wet them, Mr Bodnar said.
The sprinkler are activated once a person crosses a line in front of the driveway.
Mr Bodnar made the sprinkler system himself which features a pressure system, an irrigation timer and a light sensor to identify trespassers.

He told the Daily Telegraph that the system has had an immediate effect.
Its a last resort, but its worked really well so far, Mr Bodnar said.
The people who step under it get a fright and move on very quickly.

Locals called for an increased police presence and stricter licensing at pubs and clubs during a recent community meeting in Bondi.
NSW Police said officers are aware of residents concerns and said they will work with licensed venues to address incidents of inappropriate conduct.
