The two New Yorkers once got along famously, with Trump being an infamous, recurring guest on Sterns long-running radio show but Stern has soured on Trump since he entered politics.

On his SiriusXM show Monday, the 70-year-old Stern reacted to Trump posting on Truth social that he hates Taylor Swift.

This whole idea of you like me, you are good, and if you dont, you are bad… Ive been the victim of this, Stern said.

He then took potshots at the MAGA fans: I dont agree with Trump politically, I dont think he should be anywhere near the White House. I dont hate the guy. I hate the people who vote for him. I think theyre stupid. I do. Ill be honest with you, I have no respect for you.

Stern continued his rantings, admitting he didnt care if he lost half my audience for saying it and said that he expected to get hate mail from the Wack Pack faithful.

He then bizarrely pivoted to the lack of anti-Trump ravings at the previous nights Emmy Awards.

You cant be a p**** your whole f***ing life, he said of Hollywood liberals.

Later on in the show, Stern compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and said it would be the end of America if he beats Kamala Harris in November.

A caller compared Trumps rhetoric on immigrants to how Hitler spoke of the Jews before the Holocaust.

I couldnt agree with you more. It is the same playbook. We have seen it before in history.

The Private Parts star continued: Hitler was perceived as a clown in Germany… He was one of these buffoonish characters. Somehow he won an election. And that was the end of Germany. He dragged them through hell and back.

He concluded saying that it was a replay of the time before World War II before making an even more hysterical prediction.

I am one of those people who believe that if the election goes the wrong way, its the end of the United States.

When he claimed that his phone lines were being blown up by Trump fans demanding to confront him, the proprietor of the 1992 straight to VHS feature Butt Bongo Fiesta then declared: Im smarter than you, I just am.

Its far from the first time Stern - once the most popular radio host in the United States - has attacked his former friend.

In 2022, Stern slammed Trump supporters as morons and claimed America is a nation of nincompoops in a blistering attack.

However, he said he is somewhat of a Republican.

Stern said on his radio show that hes sick of people who buy into former President Donald Trump s bulls**t.

I mean, my God in heaven, I feel like I’m in a nation of nincompoops. I’m hoping there is still some more brilliant, bright, vibrant people who love this country, he said on the Howard Stern Show.

He went on to say that he thinks Trumps supporters are morons whose freedom has never been threatened.

Back in 2020, Stern - a notorious germaphobe who hid in his home for two years during the pandemic - said Trump supporters should take disinfectant and all drop dead.

The shock jock made the remark while discussing Trumps suggestion that the injection of disinfectants may prove useful in treating coronavirus

After Trumps remarks, doctors and disinfectant manufacturers were quick to warn that ingesting or injecting cleaning products could be deadly.

The president later claimed he was being sarcastic after being mocked over the remarks.

Stern told co-host Robin Quivers: I would love it if Donald would get on TV and take an injection of Clorox and lets see if his theory works.

[He could] hold a big rally, say f**k this coronavirus, with all of his followers, and let them hug each other and kiss each other and have a big rally, he continued.

Quivers then chimed in: A big cocktail of disinfectant!

Yeah, and all take disinfectant and all drop dead, Stern then stated.

Stern admitted to wanting to have Hillary Clinton on the show ahead of the 2016 election and thinks he helped Donald Trump become president by frequently interviewing him, though he admits to voting for Clinton .

In fact, Stern thinks Clinton made a mistake by never appearing on his show.

‘I wanted to see Hillary Clinton win,’ Stern told Good Morning America.

‘If she had come on the show - the way I helped Donald was I let him come on and be a personality, he said.

‘Whether you liked him or not ... people related to him as a human being.

‘I wanted to do that for Hillary.

The radio legend added: ‘Hillary Clinton’s afraid of me, and justifiably.’

‘I thought that perhaps if she came on my show, we couldve stripped away some of the pomp and circumstance or the tightness that comes with running for president and, like Donald, she couldve been seen in a different light.’

Stern credited Trump with being genuine and authentic when he came on the air.

‘Donald Trump, hands down, whenever you put him on the air, now, this is before he was running for president, he was an open book,’ Stern said.

‘He would say anything. And you know, oddly enough - during the campaign and even now, people quote these interviews that I did with him.’

Stern eventually did get Clinton on the show and even interviewed President Joe Biden before he dropped out of the race.
