Hatton Garden gangster Brian Reader made one last shrewd deal before his death - pocketing a tidy £1.6 million from the sale of two homes.
Two properties at his vast 7,149sq ft estate in Dartford, Kent, have been sold.
Another is on the market for £800,000 and is set to make his family a small fortune after his death earlier this year.
It has sparked fresh calls for the missing £10 million of loot stolen from the Hatton Garden heist to be chased.
Reader was the oldest member of the Diamond Wheezers heist which stole £14million worth of gems and bullion in a bank deposit heist in Hatton Garden in 2015.
But police have only ever recovered £4.6 million, meaning £9.5 million worth of stolen goods are still missing.
He was jailed for six years and three months after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary but was released halfway through his sentence in 2018 following a series of health battles

The gang even got a staggering £660,000 in legal aid for their trial, with Reader getting a share of £136,000 - despite the fortune.
The home currently up for sale - Holly House - is valued at £800,000.
It is a four-bedroom property with two bathrooms.
A source said: It is shocking to see him pocket this wealth just before he died but so much outstanding to the taxpayer.
His crimes cost the taxpayer an enormous sum of money.
Millions are still missing, yet he was able to bring in this huge wealth.
It shows even towards the end he was a shrewd operator and had one over the authorities.
Every effort should go into finding the missing millions. Its appalling that it has not been found.
Reader - nicknamed The Governor - was the oldest member of the Hatton Garden heist gang, and also stood trial along with Kenneth Noye for the murder of undercover police officer Detective Constable John Fordham, 45, in 1985. Both Reader and Noye were acquitted.
Land registry details show the sale of two of the huge homes on the plot just months before his death.

The vast wealth is set to be handed down to his children.
Sources say it showed one last deal which pocketed his family a nice sum before he died.
Holly House has a large bay window and is traditionally designed throughout.
Neighbours said Reader had been a gentleman during his time living there.
One said: I knew him and knew his history. I never mentioned it.
It was not the sort of thing youd bring up in conversation. I knew he had a bit about him.
He was a shrewd guy. Hes obviously done alright out of selling two of them and theres one more to go.

Another said: His family and the people there have been nothing but pleasant.
I hope the third one sells for them.
Whatever he did has got nothing to do with his family.
I wish them all good luck.
Theres a shortage of houses in the area so I hope it is sold and it makes somebody happy.
I knew Brian Reader for a few years. He never caused me any problems.
