A female undercover journalist working to expose the predatory underbelly of the Majorcan tourist hotspot of Magaluf has revealed the disturbing moment she was targeted by an opportunistic male partygoer.
Journalists Ellie Flynn and Emily Birtley wore hidden cameras for the new Channel 4 film Magaluf Undercover: Predators and Parties on the infamous Punta Ballena party strip where they pretended to be drunk to see whether men would attempt to take advantage of their state.
Over the course of three days, Ellie - who was accompanied by a film crew while she disguised herself as a drunken reveller - secretly filmed in clubs, on the strip and on Magaluf beach after dark.
The crew documented the several sinister instances in which Ellie was followed and harassed - one of which saw a man watch her pretending to be drunk for 10 minutes before following her around the town.
The man in question waited until Ellie left Emilys side and set off up the road alone.
As soon as she was out of earshot, he seemed to signal to his friends he was going to go after her and hared up the hill to catch her isolated and vulnerable.
He refused to leave her alone despite Ellie showing no interest - and she was ultimately forced to double back and give her pursuer the slip to avoid his advances.
He seemed to be alerting his friends... that he was going to target a vulnerable, drunk girl, and his friends were like yeah cool and just stood there while he did it, she said.
To see something happen... in such a targeted, orchestrated way was really shocking - Ive never seen anything like that before.
That was just one of many unsettling incidents revealed in the documentary.

In another harrowing scene, the undercover journalists revealed a moment when one man blatantly began hitting on a woman he believed was a 15-year-old girl.
The journalists were filmed speaking to a pair of men outside a hotel bar when Emily, who is really in her twenties, said she was just 15 years old and on her first holiday with friends.
One of the men began hitting on Emily, prompting his friend to call him a nonce.
He immediately retorted: Its okay bro, were on holiday, it doesnt count... doesnt matter if shes 15, it doesnt count.
The girls played along, clearly hoping he was joking, but the man then made an outrageous statement. If shes got a full hymen Ill know... he said.
He initially tried to play it off, laughing when the journalists, clearly taken aback, pressed him on it.
But moments later he doubled down: I said, I want to see if shes got a fully developed hymen or not!

Another disturbing scene captured the moment local men shamelessly preyed on Ellie as she pretended to be passed out on a sun-lounger, forcing her to call in security to escape.
In the clip, a man can be seen walking over to the British reporter, who buries her face in her hands in an attempt to seem drunk.
Hey, are you good? Sorry, are you good?, he asked Ellie as he leaned over her.
The reporter proceeded to tell him she was fine, but instead of leaving her to it, he asked her if she wanted to talk a little bit.
The interaction takes a dark turn when Ellie shook her head no, to which the man responded: You are my last chance. Do you want to kiss a little bit?.
Ellie told him no again, and the man momentarily walked off - only to tell his friend that shes completely wasted, to which his friend responded: Lets go for it! Lets go for it.
If you want, I can keep you company, the friend said after approaching Ellie and sitting next to her on the lounger. Where are you from?, he asked.
Ellie then stood up, explaining in her narration of the film how she felt genuinely scared, despite having a camera crew and security watching her.

She was seen signalling for help, and a female security guard rushed to her rescue and pulled her away.
Sorry, that just scared me...I didnt see him coming, a relieved Ellie declared.
I had seen the first two together, but the sudden appearance of another and having no idea at the time if they were together - was enough for me to signal security to get me out.
Ellie went on to describe how she felt like she had experienced an orchestrated attempt to target drunk women alone on a night out in Magaluf.
The documentary also revealed that 48 cases of rape were reported to the police in Magaluf in 2023 alone.

Over the summer several instances of rape were reported at the tourist hotspot.
One female British tourist was allegedly raped by a man twice her age who intercepted her as she returned to her holiday apartment from a boozy night out with friends in Magaluf.
Another British woman was raped and robbed on a beach after she became separated from friends in the resorts Punta Ballena party strip.
The suspect was said to have picked her up and carried her to the beach where he allegedly raped her before stealing her mobile phone.
The Majorcan region of Calvia, where Magaluf is situated, has the highest number of reported sexual assaults per inhabitant in the whole of Spain.
The party resort on the Spanish island of Majorca is famed for its drink-fueled culture, which is often perpetrated by foreign tourists - in particular British and German.
