A mum-of-four influencer has had her baby daughter taken into care while she is probed by police over allegations she faked the tots brain tumour by drugging her.
The high-profile Queensland mother collected $62,000 in GoFundMe donations after she revealed the infants alleged fight for life and launched the appeal in June.
But hospital workers are believed to have raised the alarm with police after the mothers online updates about the childs surgery didnt match her real treatment.
Now the childs father has branded his partner a monster after he was alerted to the allegations and police investigation. The family cannot be named for legal reasons.
For what its worth, I had no idea about what [the mother] was doing to [the child], the devastated father said in a social media post on Monday.
I pushed for those surgeries because in my heart I felt it would help.
I didnt realise [the child] was being drugged the entire time causing her symptoms to be what they were.
I do my best to love and protect my children. I shouldve done better for them. Im sorry I couldnt protect [the child] the way I should have.
